Characteristics of Waterproof LED Light Strings:

6. Electricity saving: There are around 300-400 LEDs per outdoor LED sign and the power consumption is about 15W, i.e. It works for 8 hours every day, 8 days consume the electricity about 1000W.
7. Installation method is simple: Drill holes in metal or other materials: the diameter is 9mm, put the LEDs into the holes one by one, then connect the positive poles and negtive poles of all LED light strings to our special power supply.
8. You can replace the LEDs by yourself without understanding the circuit and waterproof process. It solves the problem of difficult maintenance for LED projects.

      Waterproof LED Light Strings Specification:

      Application: Hotel outdoor signs, hotel roof signs, hotel exterior wall signs, hotel door signs, KTV signs, Sauna bath center signs, restaurant signs, store signs and etc.

 The production steps are as below:
1. It needs the following tools: 30W or 40W electric irons, tin solder, electric drill, glue gun, screwdriver and etc.
2. Materials: Metal forming words, wires and power supply;
3. Hole drilling: Fix the metal forming words to the appropriate location, drill holes of 5mm or 9 mm; The pitch will be according to the height and production cost of the signboard. Usually, the the center pitch for LEDs is 10 ~30 mm, the smaller the pitch, the better the effect, and the higher the cost.
4. Insert the LEDs: Clean up the holes and put the LEDs one by one;
5. Connection: Connect the red wire to the positive pole of power supply and black wire to the negtive pole of power supply.It is better to place the power supply in the waterproof box.
6. Aging test: After connecting all of the LEDs, check each one, pick the bad one out and then carry out an aging test for 48 hours.
7. Transport to the site and build the scaffold for installation.

      Notes for usage of waterproof LED light strings:
1. The voltage of each string is DC5V, and the current is around 16mA;
2. Use the power supply with output voltage DC5V;
3. Calculating of the power: e.g. the number of LEDs for the power supply of 5V,30A: 30*0.8/0.16=1500pcs, i.e. about 75 strings(20pcs/string), total 1500pcs of LEDs, suggest use one power supply for 1000pcs of LEDs;
4. Power leads from the wire cross-sectional area not less than 4mm²;
5. Connect the red end of wire to the positive pole of power supply;
6. Connect the black end of wire to the negtive pole of power supply;
7. If some LEDs are not work, squeeze hard the LEDs and the lamp holders; If they still don't work, replace the LEDs;
8. Don not cut single LED separately, otherwise it will affect other LEDs;
